Penny Ulrich “Mrs. Penny”
Director/ Lead Pre-K Teacher
My husband and I have lived in Bradford, NH for 28 years. I have two grown boys, Jakob and Mathew. Jakob attended Wilmot Learning Place in 2001-2003 and I was the Preschool Teacher 2002-2003. I spent the next several years at home raising my two boys. I enjoy being outside walking, bird watching and exploring local trails. This will be my 11th year teaching preschool, my fourth at Wilmot Learning Place and I am very excited!
Haley Hathorn “Miss. Haley”
Pre-K Teacher
Haley lives in Sunapee, NH and is a graduate of Sunapee Middle High and Colby Sawyer with a degree in Child Development and a minor in education and performing arts. She has two siblings with one being a twin sister. She loves being outside, being active, and playing sports, especially ice hockey! Haley is excited to start her second year WLP!
Valerie Clausen “Mrs. Valerie”
Preschool Assistant
I have lived in New London since 2005 and began working at Wilmot Learning Place as a substitute in 2006. My husband and I have three adult daughters. I enjoy riding a tandem bike with my husband and I have fun hiking and participating in citizen science projects with my daughter, Colleen, who still lives locally. I especially like coming up with big messy art and crafts projects and I am thankful for the opportunity to work, play and try these projects with your children!
Gina Grace “Mrs. Gina”
Preschool Assistant
I live in New London with my two daughters, Taylor and Ryley, and am a native of the Kearsarge District. Both girls attended Wilmot Learning Place and it has held a special place in my heart ever since. I worked in elementary and special education prior to having children, and spent many years in the daycare setting. Once the girls attended primary school, I became a stay-at-home mom. Now that they are in the final years of high school, I am ready to return to my love of working with children. I prefer to be outdoors whenever possible, hiking and running. In the winter I enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing. When I’m not outside, I love reading and spending time with my family.
